Well done Mr Sreenivasan

 Actor Sreenivasan deserves an award from Keralites, especially from Malayalam movie buffs who love and promote quality movies. Don't think award is for Mr Sreenivasan's excellent performance in his latest flick - Athmakadha or scriptwriting or story. It's for his courage!!!

Yes. He showed the courage to speak the truth - What backstabs Malayalam Movie Industry now. In his opine it is the failure of Mohanlal and Mammooty in selection of movies and orthdox mind of producers. Actually veteran actor Thilakan said the 'real' situation with more courage. And he was axed by AMMA, (Association for Malayalam Movie artistes).


"Even their films are damp a squib, superstars are waiting for a hit from a director. Remember they are holding their belief right even after series of films bombed, " said Mr Sreenivasan, who has directed and scripted quality movies.  


Two Big M's (Mammotty and Mohanlal) doesn't know their value and has been continuing their 'good performance' in average films by portraying average characters. Even though MM's movies are bombing at Box Office yet producers with orthdox mind opts these great actors. Channels also have a big role as they determine the
Satellite Rights of a movie. Only Superstar movies get maximum price and it may cover almost production cost.

It is high time for Big M's in Indian Film Industry to be in selective mode

What will be the fate of Mr Sreenivasan? Wait for some more days. Anyway, give an appaluse for Mr Sreeni's courage. I know Malayalis will take some more time for appaluse.

History of Ayurveda : 3,000 years, claims an Ayurveda website!!!

An Ayurveda Hospital from Thrissur claims that - Ayurveda has only 3,000 years history. You can argue the company has put over 3,000 years. The statement arises a confusion. It can be 4,000 or more that that. So, guess is the ideal option. Will you allow to change the history of Allopathy? Let's read these wonderful fact and story.

Everyone agrees that Ayurveda has the legacy and heritage of 5,000 years. Then why here it is 3,000? Dear friends, in Ayurveda, it is your choice. You can add or increase the facts. None will question it. So, go ahead.

Books on Ayurveda ; afflicted with lot of mistakes

Mr Salim Pushpanath sells Ayurveda books with beautiful rosebuds  undergoing ayurveda massage well. But don't know what ayurveda is and for whom it is!!


I got a chance (by fate) to read some books on Ayurveda and Kerala, published by Mr Salim Pushpanath when I visited Oberon Mall at Kochi, Kerala. I was embarassed when I started reading. Because books on ayurveda are afflicted with lot of errors and viloate basic ayurveda principles. I'm citing a few examples here.



Mistakes in books on Ayurveda Massages & Kerala


1. Spelling of pitha. It varies in different pages.


2. Spelling of Panchamahabhootha. It is Pancha Maha Bootha in the book.


3. Tridosha (three humours). It is - Three elements of theory, in  book.


4. There was a statement also - Shamana chikista is the pacifying way of treatment and it is especially done after shodana chikista. Can you please clarify it?


5. In Kerala, there were grammar mistakes too.


6. Photographs shown in Ayurveda massages were not upto the mark.


7. Tight editing was missing.


Due to lack of time I couldn't read books on ayurveda fully. And I think it was god's grace.


But let's think about foreigners who are keen in Ayurveda. They may believe these facts are true and feeds - Ayurveda is Massage Science. Come on, Ayurveda fraternity to stop these kind of publications or to correct them. Otherwise, Ayurveda will be.....
